If the new kid has the kind of game in the Orange Bowl that we ALL are hoping for, the sky is the limit for his career at Clemson. I am certain that the coaches will put him in a position to excel in this game and if he does ...... LOOK OUT COLLEGE FOOTBALL..
I would like to know what his teammates are saying about him. I’m sure the coaches are working with everyone to get them to play their best game with the new kid calling the shots.

and OL. And with Cade behind center at ACCCG, by gawd, the WR's and OL more than held their own. Go Tigers!

Now if we can find him some talent at RB and WR, we will be unstoppable, as long as we have a defense. Many pieces of the pie, not just one.

The moment I saw him take real command of that

offense, I thought everything I had been told by my Texan kin was true.
I saw that entire team, offense and defense, come alive with a gusto and determination that I haven't seen in nearly two years. I saw our staff jumping up and down, running across the sidelines, clapping, cheering, fist pumping like there was a new fire burning deep inside. I saw the entire Army of Orange in the stands screaming, jumping, on their feet.
But I focused primarily on one person...that young fellow up under center. There was a steely, stern, take command presence. You could hear the precise audibles with no hesitancy, no wavering, and a bristling business attitude. And by God he marched that team up and downfield and put 39 points on that scoreboard in short order!
You know what I said to myself? "BY GOD WE'VE GOT US A QUARTERBACK!"
The team knew it; our opponents knew it; our staff knew it; our fans knew it. You better believe the collegiate sports world knew it. He may stumble; he may fall; he may have his bad days. But I'll tell you right now: Every cotton-picking opponent we face henceforth are going to fear this Tiger team; they are going to try to scheme and plan any which way they can; they will dread our defense; they will dread our offense; they will dammm surely dread facing this Quarterback. God help them.....
And I won't be the least surprised...not an iota...if we see Clemson right back at the top next year, preparing for that fourth national title!
GIVE EM HELLLLLLL TIGERRRRRRRRS!

It should have been this year

I think Cade will be fantastic as well. Unfortunately, this is the year that we had the horses on the D line and to a lesser extent at LB and LT as well. If he could have just played sooner he would have made some mistakes and taken some lumps, but likely kept it respectable in South Bend. Regular season finale would not have been close and yes, we would have backed in. Next year.....D line will be decimated and we will have holes in the secondary, WR, and LT. Trevor carried us a long way without much of a supporting cast. Cade's going to be in that same boat for at least a year. Hoping a bowl win and a renewed energy around the program can get our recruiting back to previous levels.

…chew Cade up and spit him out.
Cade’s character and talent are more than than the grab-it-while-you-can attitude of 90% of the 1’s on the rosters of Div IA college football deserve.
He will never get the support that DW4 & TL16 got from the Clemson roster.
It was exhilarating to watch him in that ACCCFG.
Cade seems to be a throwback from days long gone.
