"There is no telling where this offense could go". I am not sure I am inspired by his lack of confidence. The prevailing attitude among team captains should be that the Clemson offense is going up, and not down. It seems Briningstool is still unsure at this point whch is concerning. At the very least, he could project an aura of confidence as to not let onto to the younger players and the media that we are going to possibly take a step back this year.
Dabo may want to vet his players a lit bit bette removing forward before putting them in front of the media.

I think he meant this positively, as in there is the ceiling is still unknown. The rest of his quote is very positive!

I think you spun this way off as a negative. I think he is saying that this offense has fanatistic potential if they get everything tweaked and play synergistically. Sounds super positive to me.

Balm - Glad someone read it the same way!
Personally I think its refreshing that we have players being honest about our ability unlike our HC who just says "everyone is awesome, just wait and see". Kudos to Brinningstool!
Also in watching that clip below I am alarmed! Riley needs to sit Wesco down for a couple of games... do you see his lack of ball security by flailing the ball around before he crossed the end zone. That kinda of sloppy play cannot be tolerated.

I think you totally missed the point of what Briningstool meant. It seems to me as if he were saying, "there is no telling where this offense is going", meaning the possibilities are unlimited. Of course there is always those folks who want to throw a wet blanket on anyone. My friend, a psychiatrist, always said the only way some people can feel good about themselves is to put others down!
