Heard the same thing when Peake was coming out of high school. The difference is that I think he has more skill than Jacoby (no knock on Jacoby). If you ever watched him play at Dorman you'd agree. The guy could flat out fly.

I recall that at some point last year or the year before, Peake ran something like a 4.34. He was always straight line fast, but I don't think he is quite as fast with the ball in hand. Jacoby was purely the fastest, but it always seemed to me that CJ was the fastest with the ball in hand. And now, it looks like Martavis has gotten faster without and with the ball for the Steelers... And to think what Mike Bellamy and Joe Craig could have added to that legacy... #speedthrills #speedkills

He may be the fastest receiver but he needs to actually play a full season.

When we had Sammy, Nuk, Martavis, and Peake didn't Dabo say that Martavis was the fastest? How can Peake now be the fastest since Jacoby if a few years ago Martavis was faster than Peake?

That's not how I remember it but you might be right. If Peake was hurting during those times he may be healthier now.
