a terrible look and really speaks to her mindset relative to the parents who entrust their children’s education to her organization. And I think we all get the sentiment…we are all human…but you have to be better than that if you have that role. And I don’t mean “make sure your mic is off” or “be careful what you say.” I mean you can’t hear this outrage and think “f you.”

Only field trip that I've ever been on, or any of my kids have been on, you knew where you were going and what you were doing before you left. Oh yeah, and you had to have a signed permission slip. Now if she just went all rogue and decided to pull kids from school one day and take them to a bar, yeah fire her ass yesterday. Of course the story doesn't address any of the facts. Just a bunch of flameworthy stuff to get people all fired up.

prayer meeting, I'd be just as ticked not knowing. If there was a permission slip signed by parents, then fine IMO. If not, fire her. Pretty simple.
The best restaurant in Columbia used to be a "gay bar", or the bar there was. It was run by a gay guy and it became a hangout I guess. Was near 5 points. Never had a bad meal there and their steaks were the best I've had in Columbia, until Hall's I guess. Didn't have kids back then, but I'd not blink at taking my family for a great steak and wine white-tablecloth meal there. My evil Republican parents took me there though, and exposed me to all those gay people. I never knew how bad it was until now. Amazed I survived.
No, times and people are different now. Just how black and white people got along far better in the days of racism I guess, back in the days of bigotry, straight people and gay people cooked food, ran restaurants, and patronized restaurants for good food and didn't care about the sexual identity of anyone. A good meal is (or was) a good meal.
