Watson and Lawrence were snubbed as well. If you not SEC or Big 10 you don’t qualify. Lawrence and Watson not winning the Heisman was just the SEC and Big 10 politics.

Watson won the Davey O'Brien award in 2015 and 2016. Only 1 of the 3 finalists this year (Dillon Gabriel) plays in the SEC or B1G. Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward are the other 2 finalists.

but statistically Sanders is much better. Cade gets the nod in rushing but that's really it. If character factored into it, then Sanders would certainly be left out.

not quite to the Tajh Boyd/Woody Dantzler level. And then a ways down from the DW4/TL16 level. So when I think of qb awards I'm thinking yeah he's got a ways still to go to be in that conversation.

Take a look at the players Tajh had around him and think what Cade’s numbers would look like with those guys. No offense to the talent we have now, but Tajh had 6 NFL receivers, an NFL RB, and an NFL TE; I’m not sure that’s what we have right now.

growth this year. BUT, those other three guys have much higher QB ratings, more yards, and better completion percentages; 2 of the 3 have more TDs. Those will also probably be the top 3 QBs taken in the draft this year.
