That kid HitsLikeRendrickTaylor just TDed me. Will he explain that and why his avatar is way off from who he is.
Did he finally pay just to do that? He paid $$ to do that?! Good fun, will put him on ignore as I aint into things like that now since I have taken up the "Dude" life.
My goal is to "ABIDE".
A flick I watched last night had a fun line -- "many of the cowards here in prison hide behind muscles and tattoos". I bet he believes he can kick my ### over in the church parking lot where tnet members assemble for a fun contest.

I think you showed a picture but I could not find it on google. I like speakers you can turn upon loud without getting harsh or fatiguing, some people call that "laid back"
BTW..my sister is up that way, so I may take you up on that someday.

I agree, but my favorite systems are those that have the power to play low.
Most systems can play loud (most can't do it well). A system that can play with low volume and send out every note is a goal. My porch system can do that.

Back when they sold speakers in stores, the salesmen were trained to turn them up loud. If they can move air at low volumes, and still capture the finer gradations in sound, then it seems a better way to judge. The Aryas were like that, but you had to turn them down because they got harsh and fatiguing. Later I discovered that different amps do different things and found the right combo for my liking. I am done chasing that dragon, I did it for 3 years, I finally like what I have and it did not cost an arm and a leg, just an arm.

Yeah, most don't understand how much a decent amp means to "better audio". "Making a sound" and reproducing the correct sound confuses them. They confuse watts with power. Most amps can play loud, few can play low.

Far and away the best bang for buck as to better audio is headphones. Other things are a hobby and cost more.
You have the best. Most folks love their tunes but have no clue as to "better audio". They speak out as to this or that tune but have never heard it.

Any recommendations for those of us not wanting to go the headphone route? I have KLH 5's for speakers, have tried several amps and sent them back. Just not happy with them. May try a tube amp.

Love the speakers. A retro design updated, but true to the original design.
I haven’t found an amp that drives them well enough to suit me yet. Maybe I should go retro there too. The late 1970s Pioneer and Sansui amps have not been equaled to my ears.

I had much of that same problem on my guglaphonic system and after upgrading all of my equipment I discovered that it was the needle ..... changed to a jewel point needle and solved the problem. Might want to check into that!

when Clemson loses . a crowd silently takes out an emotion by thumbs downing posts for no reason
and the TD feature is likely why there are so many skoks now
and and when you have a new account. 1TD is outweighed by 5-10TUs . it's awful.
i hope Francis Marions moderator phase is the one that convinced BMeist and crew to update their equation
it's a reward/penalty system that is flawed
i'm a legit new member that finally joined last years
i'm not getting ultimate because of the TD
