any game, whether going to it or not. As sort of a "sacrifice" for good luck. First thing I do on Saturday AMs. Obviously if I am on the road that is not possible - this applies only if I am at my own domicile.
If I don't see one, so be it, no harm. But if I see one and shoot at it, I MUST kill it (or another one). I will go to absurd lengths tracking one until I get it.

If you have a 12 ga and time to drop by you can shoot up into that flop house and kill half a dozen. If you don't have a shotgun I will loan you a 22 cal target pistol which should net you a few.
Thanks for killing them. Rats aren't more of a pest, imo.

.22 Benjamin Trail pellet rifle with a powerful scope

Quiet. Pinpoint accurate at 50yds+. At 100feet in, so easy it's not even challenging, which body part do you want me to hit. Pellet more times than not goes completely through the carcass, devastating. That "thump" sound of a solid hit to the chest is just beautiful to hear.
The thing is that squirrels communicate with each other pretty well.......you kill 3 or 4 of them in short time and they ALL go away for months. That's why I try for one per week.
https://www.benjaminairguns.com/trail-xl-magnumTrail XL Magnum The Benjamin Trail XL Magnum features a handsome, checkered, hardwood stock. With its daunting velocities of up to 1500 fps (.177-caliber), 1100 fps (.22-caliber), and 900 fps (.25-caliber), small game - it's game over. Benjamin Nitro Piston powered break

VERY specific routine for me when possible.

Gameday, when not in the valley:
Take a shid. Or 2 or 3, depending on nervousshid factor + friday pm shenanigans.
Try hard to get leg in the morning. Not always successful though depending on cawkblocking kids, headaches, and all the other excuses.
Wear orange. Probably a tshirt. Probably a hat. Maybe a jacket, depending on weather.
Drink. Beer. Quite a few.
Eat. Not a lot, but kinda snack on stuff. Either a box 'o pollo from Bojangles or kinda just keep the grill and/or smoker going all day with various stuff.
Yell GAHDDAMMIT! Normally happens during the game, sometimes more than once.
The end.

well, I did not do this for ND as that was a beatdown. But it worked a couple of other times this year.
Used to do shots, but on diet so no alcohol. I think about doing shots. LOL.

were in the running for the Natty or years when we were on the rise, I was sure to shave, take a nervous poop, and wear my lucky gameday clothes and change those clothes if the Tigers needed a mid-game mojo correction. It worked.
TBH, since 2020 I have cared a lot less. Seeing the product on the field decline and being the hunted rather than the hunter has taken some of the starch out of APM's gamedays. I seldom get nervous. The only two times I have been nervous this season were 1) when we were in OT vs. WFU and 2) when we nearly allowed FSU to come back. I predicted our struggles against ND and when it was clear we were going to lose, I didn't bother to change clothes or even care. Went to bed and slept soundly. I just embraced the suck.
It was more fun when we were on the journey.

We would have died of alcohol poisoning starting in about 2013 were we to do a shot for every touchdown
Go Tigers
Also we are now 96-8 in my old Clemson shirt with Sammy #2 jersey combo. They're both in pretty rough shape

I try to fix a meal and time it so that it any time maintaining it will be sacrificed during halftime. I usually line up snacks before gametime too.
I never drink alcohol during games but I might have a couple (2) beers after an early or mid afternoon game when Clemson loses. For the ND game I made the two tallboys.
I decide during the week previous to a game whether I'm confident enough of a win that I can record the game and FF through the breaks and timeouts so I won't be subject to the idiotic comments of those who think their short stupid predetermined speeches are entertaining. I like those games most because I can stretch halftime to do whatever needed to work out the meal to follow.
Early that day I send my kids emails to let them know if they need to talk to me they need to call early or come over and WATCH the game with me.
If we all had this kind of passion for going to church we'd be a lot happier group.
