.......actually putting pressure on the opposing team. Today showed if you just put the ball in play making the opposing team make the play that that philosophy actually works. The fact the Tigers only stole a base 30 something times per year the last 2 years tells me Monte probably should have been fired 2 years ago. That few attempts at stealing is ridiculous. That stat really shocked me but with that said I believe the Tigers have a coach that understands putting pressure on the opposing team in every offensive category is what this program needed. Really excited about the future.
