And it dropped boosters in the sky, the sun hit it perfect for a crazy look at the future. I pulled over and a cop pulled in behind me. He called dispatch to find out what the heck it was, I didn't know but was rocket launch, pretty cool

It was awesome, i wasn't sure what was happening, I pulled into parking lot and Cop pulled in behind me, I was like what the heck did I do? Then cop came running up to me and said, what Is that? I couldn't answer, he called dispatch and we gott our answers! Definitely cool!

just now while I was driving back to Orangeburg from Greenville. It looked almost like the plumes from the Challenger accident.

booster, and then pretty much disappeared all of a sudden. I was saying to myself "WHUT?" About that time, I began to be able to see, just for a little while, the much smaller plume of the next engine firing. Glad someone knew what it was, I thought maybe Randy Quaid's aliens from Independence Day might be coming for me.

It appears to me to be Coach Riley giving Beamer the middle finger. I'm sure those Chem. engineers at Clemp sun figured it out.

I get to see them quite often. But, I never get tired of watching them. No clouds obstructing my view today and the sun was just right. Could see the boosters drop off. Two glowing pink rings falling back to earth.

Just wait until the stacked Starship/Superheavy launch in March. This is the most important program in space history.
SpaceX is already light years ahead of everyone else but Starship will put them in a completely different galaxy.
I'm glad this is an American company or the world would be in serious trouble.

I don't care about all this incredibly amazing engineering stuff Spacex is doing. Elon let's people post stuff on Twitter that I disagree with! If he won't remove everything me and my "progressive" friends disagree with on Twitter, that makes him a FASCIST!!! (LOL)

From those pictures posted on this thread (taken from far north of the launch looking to the south, I assume) it looks like the boosters are "thrown" from the rocket and are further from the ground than the rocket. From my perspective (from almost due west of the launch) it is clear the boosters merely drop off the rocket and fall to the ground.
Not sure why it looks like they are from looking at it from SC.
Sometimes, a picture doesn't speak always give the accurate perspective, I guess. Some forensic scientist or photo-interpreter could explain, I would imagine.
