I like how Dabo develops but the 2/3’s need work..

Doesn’t mean they aren’t talented. They are super young and many were in high school last year. I also wonder if it’s harder to learn and run our offense more than defense against a team like el cid?

It always takes longer to finetune or install offense than defense, all things being equal. The kids are talented but young. They'll come around.

Who cares what the 2s and 3s do as a unit?

Individuals from the reserves come in to play when the game is on the line, not entire units.
All we should be worried about is if key starters have a game-ready back-up to come in when needed.
Trying to get a full group of reserves to operate as a unit is like the spring game when the team is split. It just doesn’t work.

Yea, Dabo’s got it all wrong. You should write him a letter.

Dabo is concerned with the individual performance of reserves. Is each reserve playing his best. The fact that Taison has problems moving the ball with a full compliment of non-starters is not a big deal if Taison is doing his job.
For example, he hit the TE up the middle with a perfect throw that should have been a long TD instead of just a long incompletion.

them yesterday! Playing time is what will develop them. Running up the score with the 1st teams (like a lot of schools do) would be the wrong thing to do.

especially for a lineman offense is always harder to learn and fine tune than defense at any level.

Defense played well the whole game, even the 2nd half.

That's the reason there has been very little scoring in the 2nd half.
