WATN - TOTE1 Edition

During last nights squeaky shoe game I saw a graphic for the upcoming VT game on Saturday. I thought Id look for some tickets and came to TNet. After seeing I had 24 new Tmails (not a single one from Crump®) I thought it polite of me to reply to as many as I could. I still have 4 but I can't see them in my Inbox so the indicator is still broken I see.

I guess I've been MIA for about 4, almost 5 yrs now. In 2020 I lost my job in a big layoff during the China virus/company buyout. Luckily I got a nice 6 mos severance package and was able to work a job I really enjoyed for six mos. It didn't pay much but that didn't matter during that time.

I got a job offer from a hospital in Charlotte, supporting their outpatient pharmacies. I was hired as a temp and told the position could last 3-4 yrs, possibly turning into full time or ending after the 4 yrs. I got hired on full time, my pay doubled from the job I get let go of in 2020, my workload was cut in half and I WFH full time. I got accredited in Epic software which gives me some leverage and opportunities to work for just about any major hospital system. I hate the work but the pay is good.

I lived on a lake in the upstate for a few yrs until the leasing company kicked me out b/c I found a leak as well shrooms growing in the back corner of one of the bedrooms. They said I needed to be more diligent about inspecting their property and not let such things go on for so long. They needed up having to replace the well b/c the pump burned out due to the leak. I didn't replace the carpet where the Smurfs were living and rented the house out immediately after I vacated.

I've been chasing down as many photog gigs as I can, getting into more than elk photography. Im not making enough to live off of it yet. Im working on setting up photo tours in the GSMNP for this coming fall. In 3 weeks Im headed to Yellowstone. I put together a photo trip and had few photographers sign up. I've hired tour guides to take us into the park for wildlife photography. I plan to do this annually and sell spots for the trip to rich photographers who want to give me their money. Hoping to see bison and elk in the dead of winter along with wolves foxes coyotes etc.
