Big Questions heading into game

1) Will the Clemson players step up? Will they avoid the lackadaisical bone-headed play exhibited in Duke opener? Will they play with pride & confidence for Dabo, Riley and Goodwin? Will they back up Dabo and demonstrate 5th & 6th year players are earning their paws? 2) Will coaches show confidence in the players to play wide open? Will the best underclassmen start or get more reps than lesser performing upperclassmen? Will the play calls allow Cade Klubnik to open up the offense and throw the ball downfield? What have the coaches been holding back for this big game? 3) Will the team avoid turnovers and penalties? 4) Will the Death Valley crowd stay fired up and put it on the Seminoles for four quarters?
Go Tigers!

All great questions that will be answered soon enough. I think we are in store for an absolute war and the best prepared team that executes the best will prevail.
I really hope and believe in us in this game. We haven't played our best yet, but playing the best has a way of bringing that out of you.
I think we are ready to go be great...

The last time Clemson played a D1 team in the Valley was NOT a good day. This game can make up for that miserable afternoon last year. I’ll be there. Will you ? You are needed,

We are 8th in the country at only 3 penalties per game.

So there's that.
FSU is 42nd and Alabama is 66th.
Based upon these irrefutable facts, we slap a knot up side their heads.

I promise you that your guess with that question will be as good as anyone's on T-Net!!!! Personally, I believe there has been a lot of sandbagging done up to this point in our season so that FSU wouldn't see all that we're capable of doing with the offense, and the Duke game was underestimated, and Dabo and Garrett got bite square in the A$$ bc it was to late in that game when it got out of hand!!! If I'm right, with one loss at the very start of the season and we run the table, that loss shouldn't hurt us at all as far as making the playoffs bc we would be 12-1 with our only loss being game one at the start of the season!!!

What we saw in the Duke game, was a team that simply was not hungry. The hallmark of Dabo’s teams in 2015 2016 and 2018 were teams that were hungry for victories and literally wanted to kick the crap out of whoever they were playing. Will they be able to get that fire back this week? Who knows, I hope so, but it will take a very hungry Clemson team to beat Florida State.

I agree - the Tigers had that game won before they ran onto the field. Unfortunately Duke didn’t know this.
One of the most miserable Tiger games that I have seen in my sixty plus years of supporting the Tigers
A comedy of errors that was unlike any Clemson football I can remember.
Hopefully it was a wake up game!!!!

8 quarters of clean, sound football against cupcakes, which we did not.
