Championship game on tie breakers i gotta believe we'd be at least a top 8 team. That means we would host a home playoff game. Who else would rather play a home playoff game instead of going to CLT to play another lame ACC school?

If Miami is undefeated and we get there with only losing to UGA that would be a MASSIVE game. No one would consider Miami a "lame ACC School" at that point. Cam Ward would most certainly be a favorite to win the Heisman.

Plus, yes as cool as it would be to host a playoff game, winning the ACC and getting a bye is better in the long run to get healthy and ready for who we would have to play next.

Either you play a December game in CLT and have the first week of the playoffs off or you have the first weekend in December in CLT off and the play a home game in the first round of the playoffs. Either way it's the same number of games. I'd prefer the latter.

Its 20 days vs 24 days which I agree isn't a huge difference but its not nothing.

All I'm saying is if we are talking national championship (which I know were really aren't) the better path to get there is to win the ACC, get the bye, and only have to win 3 playoff games.

With all that said, however it works out, as long as we are in I don't really care. And yes it would be awesome to host a first-round game.

In the scenario where there a 3 11-1 ACC teams i don't believe for a second they'll all get in. So the winner and the team that doesn't make the ACCCG get in and the 11-2 loser gets the shaft.

I don't believe for a second that an ACC team would be a home team for the first round. Those spots are reserved for B1SECG.

the ACC title game. Worst case would be lose ACC title game and drop to 9-12 seed because of that
