They've been to the playoffs two years in a row and have beaten their biggest challenger twice in a row. They recruit well and are a top 10 team in the talent composite. They also have one of the best coaches in college football. I still think Ohio State wins the Big Ten, but Michigan should be very good.

I'd add Michigan has a ton of returning starters, one of the better special teams outright, & arguably (finally?) the most competitive QB in Jim Harbaugh's tenure to-date.
I'm not sure I'd put them as high as they are, but by comparison I can't get upset is all; it's not outright illegitimate.

I don't believe Michigan is better than Alabama or Ohio State. I'm glad to see us in the Top 10 but still kind of flying somewhat under the radar. I think we do better when we come up from behind and surprise people rather than being the front-running target at the outset.

Word is Dak Joyner is their #1 RB. If you have a converted QB/WR as your RB, behind the worst USuCk O-line since they went 1-21, you're not going to win many games. Especially when you were 117th defending the run last year, and have worse personnel defensively this year. Can't run and can't stop the run = 6 wins max this year. If N.Carolina wins that first game their ceiling will be 5 wins.

I won’t be at all surprised if they don’t lose, at least, half their games, and the one against us by a large margin. With any decent play calling last year, even with our very poor QB play, they lose huge.

Watching our own Eric Mac Lain stand up from his broadcast to cheer his former rival FSU last year vs. LSU was something... but I admit I did the same thing & I'll do it again this year.
