I just Realized ESPN is NOT Broadcasting their Gameday Teams

Oct 20, 2018, 8:15 PM

I haven't paid a lot of attention, but just realized that Fox is showing the Washington St. Vs. Oregon game...

I wasn't able to see the Game Day show today and didn't really give it anymore thought but I can't recall if they have ever sent the Gameday crew to a game that they were not showing?

Looks like the TV people are dickriding the Pac 12 to get people to watch their shows....

Yes it sometimes happens with PAC 12 and Big 12 games that they attend due to their contract with FOX

Well ESPN, parent company Disney owns Fox anyway

They were at OU Texas 2 weeks ago and the game was on fox. I'm sure they will go to Bama LSU in a few weeks. They go to a lit of SEC games that they don't show.

And they were at ND to start the season. NBC is definitely not owned by Disney. I’m sure they love the cross promotion when they can get it, but they really do seem to go to the most compelling location, regardless of broadcast rights.
