I promised TRDJ so...

This is the first time I've asked y'all to not go TL;DR on me.
My car project got put on hold abruptly because the shop owner needed his space to finish a huge bunch of new cabinets for a construction job. I think the car has been sitting 3 months now.
Y'all can remember I got engaged last week to my HS sweetheart 9 days ago after talking to her on the phone for a few evenings. I made a big deal of it.
So, after getting tossed out the garage I started having dizzy spells, had a cardio visit which led to an EEG test to check out a valve which had been malfunctioning, to some degree for a good while now. I'm almost certain the way the doctor addressed my situation that it's not a big deal to replace a valve and I fully expect to get a valve job done before the end of the month.
Y'all know me prutty good and know how I am. I see that eviction and possibly a lifesaving mercy of God. I don't presume to think like God or anything like that but I believe He intervened with the plans of an old fool and saved my life. Meanwhile, His solution destroyed my timeline and for some uncommonly reason I wasn't upset about it even though I believed the shop owner was lying and just got tired of me showing up at 4-6am everyday.
Some 3-4 years ago I went to the tag place in TN, Courthouse in the county seat of where my CLEMSON tag was issued and renewed the tag. She worked in the building and I walked into the office where she works and asked her to dinner. She never spoke to me which was not something she'd ever done since I attended the prom with one of her friends after she'd gone off to study at UT. Ask me about that later.
So Tennessee changed the basic color on their tags from whiteish to blue and I feared it would get lost in the mail and returned to that same courthouse and secured a blue tag which says only CLEMSON!
While I was waiting on a couple people, I mean two or three, to get their stuff straight I told Tigerfur, who drove me there in his new (ish) truck that the lady he'd been hearing about his whole life worked just up the hall if he wanted to see her. You can ask him what he said, maybe he'll tell you the truth. I have to coax him to talk about it and glean what I can, when I can, from what he says.
That led to her contacting folks in her town who know both she and I. I have a daughter in the next county who has cousin on...anyway, it's TN and y'all know the family tree has no forks.
She reached out to a couple of people who 'knew a man who knew a man,' who knew my phone number. My girl wrote, text, emailed and exhausted her wits, according to her, to apologize and explain her behavior when I asked her to dinner a few years ago. We talked, gittin' hitched and this time no shotgun at my wedding. TENNESSEE, remember.
I know that God took me out of that shop before the heat struck and saved my life because I haven't been outside now for as much as 5 minutes for a couple weeks. I have dizzy spells and walking down the steps and out to close, or open the gate leaves me spinning by the time I get back inside. I often have to take a break in the kitchen and don't make it to this recliner before I sit down.
Here's a screen shot of Google maps of the house and garage where I'll spend the rest of my life.

You can say I'm lucky and a ton of lungers might agree but some of us know how much God loves His old fools and little children.
I say, 'God executed a magnificent plan and gave me a blessing which I and the woman I've loved for 56 years, a gift which I didn't deserve twice.

I get excited I'll probably forget again.
I reckon I can put that on the top of my bucket list and move the other stuff down to make space.

G, I wrestled with God twice since she first emailed me and we began to talk.

God wanted it and we didn't use a ring with ropes and a soft floor that popped when He slammed me down. I wanted to know if my heart was pure and my motives for marrying the girl was approved by Him. I feared my nature of using devices to get what I wanted out of life might be controlling me, the old nature, you know.
God wanted something from me too just like He did Jacob. God wanted Jacob and me to stop using our craftiness, wit and inconsiderate devices to get what we wanted and He wanted us to yield to Him our will and trust in Him to give us what He wanted us to have.
Strange enough, it happened to me and Jacob in our sleep. God touched Jacob in the shank, hind part of the thigh in the tendon which attaches the rear leg muscle to the bone at the knee. Jacob limped away with a reminder of his commitment to God and I will to at the altar when she and I marry.
Folks can say I'm an ignorant hillbilly, I'm delusional or just plain crazy but I have joy. I wrote the following and sent it to her yesterday, bro.
I am confirmed in God, and resolved in His grace, mercy, peace, joy, faithfulness, and patience.
I have heard His lovingkindness in the morning, and now I know the path wherein I shall walk.
2I am learning to do His will, for His Spirit is good, and He is leading me in the way everlasting.
He has caused the Lighthouse to shine across the seas where I dwelt. From the raging sea and boisterous waters, He has drawn me into the harbor of peace and soul-stilling tranquility.
There, He dropped the Anchor of my soul into the deep, still waters, and secured my peace by eternally bonding me to the Rock of Ages.
—Dan
For Jeri, the love I first knew in youth, and in whom I now see the providence of God fulfilled. Ours is a love that weathered decades apart, untouched and untainted. The purity of it has been preserved—not just by memory, but by grace. I’ve only seen one other bond like ours—my son Josh and his wife. You and she are kindred spirits: rare, radiant, and deeply good. As I honor what God restored between us, I also honor what I’ve witnessed in them. It is no small thing to love with this kind of depth. It is sacred. August 2025

It's a simple noninvasive procedure. The worst of it is a nurse has to press a heavy sack into the inside front of your thigh next to your real bag to allow the femoral artery to seal after they cut it and do the surgery.

which I don't like so we've already made plans for renovations. I'm putting in a meterbase w/ 150 Amp service and a compressed air distribution system. I also need to run a 10 amp leg from the box to a couple locations so I won't be using a drop cord to get welding done anywhere in the garage. That wooden structure way out behind the house is a chicken coop. They ain't no chickens there and ain't gonna be. I can buy eggs by telling one of the neighbors to bring me a doz fresh out of the hens' butts on the way to church Wed night.

Yep with a concrete walk which I'll cover and be able to get to that side door without drowning or having to shovel the snow off to get to work in the mornings.
Tigerfur is going to bring me an H/A unit to handle the temps and I'll set it up to be controlled from our phones and computers.
