So... No Gameday for our match-up with Auburn?
May 31, 2017, 3:35 PM

A 7:00 kickoff on ESPN rules out Gameday, correct? Otherwise it would be a 8pm kickoff on ABC.
Don't get me wrong, love that it's a night game in the Valley was just hoping for Gameday. (Maybe we'll get them for the Florida St match-up)

Louisville and FSU had GameDay last year and it kicked off at noon.

Game time is not dispositive as to gameday selection

Night games tend to be more frequent, but that's more because night games are bigger games and bigger games are more likely to be game day selections. The relationship is cor-relational, not causal.
The gameday decision for week 2 won't occur for some time, likely after the week 1 games.

I think Oklahoma Ohio State play that same day. Will Auburn be in the preseason top 10? I'm sure both Ohio State and Oklahoma will be.

Probably considering they are an SEC team. I would expect Auburn to be ranked around 10 and us around 5-7

So you really think they take CU v AU over FSU v. Bama.
Sorry, ESPN will take FSU v Bama. It has pre-season national title front runners matched.

The game they might pick over CU vs. AU is OSU vs. OU.
