Tonight Dabo referred to dining with recruits after the win over Georgia Tech...
Swinney said "This past weekend we had a few kids in on official visits. Actually, it was really cool — we had dinner on the field Saturday night, which was the first time we have ever done that. Martin Tiller of Event Rentals, man, he is the best. He built it like we were in a snow globe. He built this clear tent out on the 35- or 40-yard line. It was so cool. We had games on the jumbotron. It was a really cool environment inside the Valley.”

While that is cool and impressive, if you have ever been on the field after the game, the smell of the grass is pretty overwhelming. Maybe they served some food that went well with the scent of fresh cut grass. 😉

Since they are players, they’re probably used to the smell. Just like I’d be comfortable with the smell of a cattle barn while others would not, lol.

Just posted the picture.
I think it is a cool idea. I would expect it to be copied by several teams next year.
The only drawback is it has to be a noon game.
