Good luck Justin. All you can ask for is a chance and Monte gave you that. Still think you should have stuck it out for the degree from Clemson but you know what’s best.

Best of luck to him, he was told to transfer a while back. Regarding the degree from Clemson, he's playing baseball and likely aspires to play at the next level...so that degree's pedigree is probably the last thing on his mind.

on my part. This could well be an instance of coach and player sitting down and both seeing the writing on the wall that the young man would be in a better situation elsewhere. If so, nothing wrong with that at all, in fact, I would hope that all coaches would be honest with players, if the roster dictates that they will not see the field much going forward. Again, I have no knowledge of this case, just a generalization. This would apply to football as well. Not basketball, their rosters are so limited, you need every warm body you have.
