South Carolina Student Loan is my only hold out

on all my tax forms. They sold my loan to Nelnet, but still owe me a 1098-E from the portion they held the loan.
They could've had all these documents prepared since August, why are they the last to provide it?

back when I consolidated my loans after law school, I had to call them. They told me it was illegal to consolidate (WRONG) and that I would be a fool to do so. I quoted them the rate I was getting and they called me a liar or a fool for believing that was the rate (wrong again). When I insisted on consolidation, they refused and I threatened to sue them (cue the CA jokes).
I was correct and my consolidate rate for over ten years has been about 1.2%.

the company doesn't actually hold loans anymore. So if any of your loans are still at SCSL they won't be for long.

SCSL does not hold the loans anymore. They sell to other companies. Mainly Nelnet.
