i don't think it's as bad as you think, but i'm also not naive enough to think that SOME boosters from all the schools that he is considering would be willing to pony up. i just hope clemson is as clean as any program can be, in todays society.

I too lived in Los Angeles for over a decade. It's true that it has beautiful sections, but those places are scattered and surrounded by some of the most violent and desperate places in the USA. It's one of the most dangerous cities in the USA. And the have nots, FAR outweigh the haves ! I also attended a USC/UCLA game @ the Roe Bowl back in the 80's and nearly fell asleep. West Coast football fans are very subdued compared to fans in the south
