It’s all a guessing game as Ohio State hasn’t been challenged by playing ranked Road opponents in their conference.
In fact look at Ohio State & Penn State schedules, do they play anyone besides Michigan? The same goes for Michigan, had we played their schedule they’d say we haven’t played anyone. Ohio State wasn’t exactly great last year losing 2 games and escaping 2 others they should have lost.
I get Ohio State has a good QB & awesome WR’s but come on their defense hasn’t been tested in the least.

They have 3 decent teams in the conference that could be much better by the end of the season but not battle tested.

I could agree with you any more, OSU, ND Bama, and UGA is the media darlings regardless of what they do during a season as long as they don't lose more than two games!!!!

are hard teams to gauge..sure they have dominated people they have played..but the issue is the people they have played have been cupcakes

Michigan is no different, they haven’t played anyone either unless Penn State that has played no one has a great team.
I just don’t see where these are dominant teams by their schedules or how bad they beat bad teams.

Do y’all see where they should be ranked greater than Clemson by their schedule?
Illinois is a good team but they haven’t played yet so Ohio State decides their season basically and vice verses.

Here is our schedule in comparison with away games and ranked teams.
They like to call our schedules Cup cake but in reality they need to look in the mirror. Normally ND would be better. Still a tough road opponent that Ohio State had a hard time with at home.

This is how everyone else looked at us mid-season in 2018. 6-0 having played zero ranked teams and only 2 teams out of 13 before the CFP that ended ranked (Syracuse and TAMU)

Penn State is the most overrated team in the nation.
After watching some of their game against Meechagain
I think the fastest guy on their defense is probably a 5.0 forty speed.

have a combined 22-25 record..which is propped up by a 5-1 penn state who had also played no one with a pulse...michigans next three opponents are a whopping 9-11 .

The Vols lofty rating is based simply on beating Bama! A Bama team that should’ve lost to texas but the officials forgot intentional grounding in the end zone is a safety? They also should’ve lost to Texas A&M. Could it be Bama isn’t that good this year? It happens, we had a down year last year. But Tennessee could get their doors blown off in a couple weeks by Georgia yet they’ll stay in the top ten because they beat Bama? The SEC and Big Ten bias is so ridiculous. To have so called college football experts questioning whether or not a 13-0 conference champion Clemson deserves to be in the CFP because of what they perceive as strength of schedule is laughable.

We have to win every game, or risk getting left out! Just win them 1 at a time!
When we make the playoffs, we need to be able to win both games, not just make the playoffs.
