I have a dumb question about ticket transfer

I normally have 4. Only received to so I had to buy 2 more. Purchased those from fellow IPTAY member and did the transfer no problem.
Now I’m trying to transfer 2 to my sons and it’s saying he has to log in.
Does my son need an IPTAY or ticket account to log in to receive my tickets?

I tried logging in to my account on his phone and it said error.

Yes. He needs to create an IPTAY account in order to receive the tickets. I ran into this when I tried to transfer mine.
Called the ticket office earlier this week and they confirmed the recipient has to have an account.
