I look at it like this, we are lucky to have video for these neutral site games at all, and believe it or not this is a huge step forward over what it used to be at Flour Field. A few years ago it was just a single, out-of-focus camera behind home plate.

I posted about it earlier...worst coverage and commentating I've ever seen. The camera work was hideous as well.

The announcers just sucked too. The color analyst was clearly a chicken and kept referring to them as “we.” They were complimentary of Clemson at times though which I guess was good.

SECN+ announcers were terrible. I watched in silence after about one full inning of listening.

I wasn’t able to watch until the final inning and just….wow…. 😳
Initially I kept blinking my eyes, then cleaning my glasses, then blinking some more before I realized the cameras were out of focus. I understand Fluor Field is a neutral site but it was bad.
The announcers….i have no idea who they were, but I have heard volunteer high school games with better quality. Not just the vocabulary, but the cadence? Rhythm? Pacing was just off imo.
I’m sure they great people, but just painful.
Finally, and I totally get it’s the SEC broadcast team, but at least TRY to seem impartial. In fairness, I only caught the final inning, so maybe they were still processing the SEC, I mean SC loss?
Oh, one more thing. The announcer stated that after a commercial break they would be back with a game synopsis and highlights. Nope. Broadcast ended! 🤣
Regardless, great win Tigers, but I would love to see a production improvement. Maybe allow local HS/College volunteers? Can’t be much worse.

I actually thought the color announcer was Tay Tanner. Sure sounded like him. I missed the opening and introductions and they never identified themselves that I heard.

I noticed it was on SEC network but the commercial breaks it said "South Carolina Gamecock Sports Network" which might explain the poor telecast. They aren't up to standard on anything down there except Man/girl basketball.
