I pulled my boat out of the building and little frickin speedy gonzales jumps out and runs into the woods.

I look down into the hull and there is a nest right beside the motor. I managed to squeeze the shopvac in there and get it all out only to discover my wires are almost completely chewed through on the steering control.

So I pulled the motor out and examine the wires and place a wire protector over the damaged section.

I put everything back together, fire the engine, test the controls and surprisingly..... it works!

Of course this is a very bad idea to drive a small vessel at 20 mph up the river where the controls are literally hanging by a thread butt####it. I needed to throw the big bait.

The water was perfect, and I only saw one other boat on the river when I was heading back. I was trying to get the big one by throwing the big bait. I ended with 4 of these guys and I had one about 4 lbs to get away.

Whitewater kayaking is one of the greatest pastimes in the world in my book and I love flatwater too.

All I'm saying is you messed up a good paddle by doing all that casting and reeling.

Running 5 falls above 2 feet is a thrill. There’s not a fish that comes close to that.

and never really skilled enough to go beyond section 3 minus bull sluice, but I still love to do the rafting thing. Probably making a trip this summer. We didn't go last year.

I'm impressed that a bass would hit a lure that big. Those are some aggressive sons of guns.

This happens every fall

I may have some pictures of me in a bikini?

It was quite epic when one moment I was fully clothed with my buddies out on the lake and I tell them all to look over there at that cloud and when they turn back around BAM!
