But Adam Friedman of rivals.com has him 100% CB to UGA. He’s the only analyst predicting so far but he has a success rate of 87%.

In the last several years, we have had several Recruits state that Clemson is their “DREAM SCHOOL”, however, almost all of them have chosen to go somewhere else!

Exactly. I am not exactly sure why, but some would say 7 figure paydays at other cool other quality schools gets people thinking of options. It doesn't make sense.

They may have always loved Clemson and thought of other schools as well. 99% of people that post here and are Clemson graduates would have taken a million dollars plus to have gone to another school and graduated.

Very true. Lots of fans want to think it's a simple choice for these recruits, but in a number of cases it's not. A lot of things can go into the decision. And they don't view programs the same way fans do. Furthermore, a lot of things can change by the time their Sr year rolls around. For example if Trevor Lawrence went to his "dream school" he would have ended up at Tennessee. But by the time he was a HS upperclassman, it was pretty evident that he wouldn't maximize his skillset there. So yeah, Lester makes a good point here.

If we had benefactors with very deep pockets funding pay for play annually with our top targets, he would most likely be a Tiger. My impression is that we monetize players within our NIL structure, but not like UGA, OSU, Texas, etc., that are pure pay for play structures. That is how schools do it now by coordinating with these private parties and their top national prospects. Championship’s are not guaranteed, but good things usually happen when you stockpile enough talent and pair it with competent coaching.

That is mainly BC we're ACC ACC, and that's what the Blue chippers have been saying for a very long time. ESECPN and parents have these young minds believing that it's a slim chance to the NFL from the ACC!!!

This is our biggest hurdle. Kids today want to play in big stadiums in the SEC. Not at places like wake forest

7 figures can create dreams of its own. Use it or lose them. Fact is that it's and arms race. Don't wanna use the portal much? I can dig that. Bit better go ALLLLL in on recruiting AND retention.

Many go to Georgia.. Now that handing money over to recruits is legal we don't have a chance to challenge them.

Hiring more and more and more football staff members seems more the focus at Clemson than playing “Let’s Make a Deal.” The checkbook has no end for that it seems.

A lot has transpired since Friedman made his prediction. Sanders has since made a number of official and unofficial visits as well as attending camps. While he says we are still in the mix, everything I've been reading says his top two are Tenn and Ohio State. I hope they are all wrong and he chooses Clemson!

Its just will we do it?
It appears we are hoping some regulation comes into place. If that happens, it may not be until we are well behind. Previously stated stances have made change much unnecessarily harder than it needed to be.
Less is more going fwd....

Tennessee is the favorite now. Would love to have him, but like how our class is shaping up. Have some dogs on Dline and hearing Easton Ware is underrated on oline. Still think we have chance with Olineman Hardy Watts and DL Bryce Davis.
Safety Jordan Young should be ours.
