That's going to have to wait as we're not scheduled to play Pitt in any future years as of today.

a QB that is scuffling/playing well below his capability ‘give’ the ball to a blitzing LB with a pretty good head of steam going toward the end zone - and a score - yet only lost by 10…..
….. yeah, I’d like to see our guys play ‘em again.
There are two kinds of people in the world: glass half full and glass half empty. You should try optimism. Pessimism is quite often a self fulfilling prophesy.
Good day to you! Well, unless you’re finding it to be too cold, too hot, too wet, too dry, too cloudy, too sunny, yada, yada, yada…..

The glass is half full if you're filling it up. It's half empty if you're pouring something out. How many players do we lose for the season each week to injury or to the transfer portal? Do you see improvement in the offense? Maybe if we play them again we have a healthy Tyler Davis, Ngata back- but I don't see us being in a position to seek revenge and shut up an ####### coach when we can't score more than 20 points against anyone in the ACC without going to OT.

Again, I’ll say you’re coming from a negative point of view. We had a damb good fifth year QB play a great game (at home) against us. We are/were missing a LOT of good players - with our (to date) best WR scratched for covid, Bockhorst going down in game, etc., etc. Hard to establish consistency while interchanging so many guys. And this ENTIRE team is scuffling. I still stand by what I said about two critical plays for 14 points. And we lose by 10?
But okay friend, I guess we’ll just have to be on different sides of the glass, but it’s always been my interpretation that no one is pouring or drinking, the glass just stands on the table for you to see - and decide - so, if you need to modify the saying to support your pessimism, so be it. Guess it just comes down to you being you, and me being me.

My thoughts exactly. He has Pitt's best team in 10 years (likely more like 40 years) and he struggles to beat a significantly down Clemson team AT HOME. Then talks junk. He learned at the knee of D'Antonio (a known Coot). For his sake, I hope his name doesn't get brought up in those allegations that brought D'Antonio to an early retirement.

Dabo has been NOTHING but gracious to him. We were also playing our BACKUPS against them at the end of the game last year. Men who talk like this after-the-fact are SOFT.
Shows you what a Napoleon complex he has. YOU win by 10 , at home, over a CLEM team that's a COMPLETE ######## with injuries a mile long with the most experienced, best team you will probably ever have.
Poor perspective..b/c Karma will come back on him....

They fumbled the ball and we returned it to one yard line with like 45 seconds left. We ran one play, handing it off to our 4th string RB, who got tackled for a loss. Then we let the last 30 or so seconds run off without trying to line up for any more plays. So, these losers are all up their feeling over one play.

last time i checked is to score when you are on offense. I have no problem with any team that is up 50 points and 2 seconds on the clock and still trying to score. If a defense is not good enough to stop them then that is their problem. If it's a close game then kneeling makes sense if you opponent has no timeouts left. If you kneel and up 50 then that says we feel really sorry for you because you are that bad. I believe Pitt would shake in their cleats if they won their division and Clemson won their division next year. Football is a battle and in battle you show no mercy.

with 2 minutes to go. There was nothing that Clemson's back-ups could do to put the game in jeopardy.
In 2021 Clemson was down by 10 points. A pick-6 would have given Clemson a chance to steel a win. So victory formation with the first string players was a no brainier.

One thing Narduzzi didn't talk about is that he had 13 6th year players in this game and multiple 5th year players. Next year the recruiting disparity will show up in Clemson's favor again.

Very different SITUATIONS
Oct 25, 2021, 3:11 PM

The way Pitt plays they like to burn clock when they get ahead. Against both Clemson and Va Tech, Pitt gets ahead and then burns time off the clock by running conservative plays. Plus, a pass and a Pick Six by Pitt against Clemson would've put us back in contention to win or tie the game.
The previous game against Pitt, both Clemson and Pitt were playing 3rd and 4th stringers and it didn't matter because of the lopsided score. The non-starters were getting practice.
This year if Clemson had been up 10 in the final minutes, Dabo would've run out the clock on the ground and/or by taken a knee just like Mr. Brash Narduzzi did.
Go Tigers!

game because he made them while still on an adrenaline high from the win. Making this kind of comment during a press conference on the Monday of a new game week is weak sauce. Shows he has some lack of inner monologue control issues or is just a d-bag. If Pitt is still back slapping and signing autographs with their Clemson victory sharpies by mid-week that dysfunctional Miami team they face this weekend might just whip their Yinzer keisters.
Congrats to Pitt - they earned the win against the ACC's bully of the last decade. However, I surely hope Pitt and the rest of the ACC realize that this year's Clemson team ain't anywhere near the caliber of team we have fielded in the last decade. Beating a team that can't score more than 19 points is really not that big of an accomplishment. So enjoy it while you can because once Clemson gets out of our offensive funk we are going to be back to plowing Pitt and every other ACC team into the dirt.

Congrats guy. If Clemson has a year where their 5 star qb busts to the point of not being able to complete a bubble screen or shovel pass, you have 20 6th year seniors, and Clemson makes a bunch of mental mistakes in game..then you can scrape by with a w. Awesome signature moment.

Why on earth would we expect them to kneel?

This is akin to the way baseball fans act (pitch a fit if the player with the HR walks too slow). If they don’t kneel, then they are worried the game isn’t in hand. Losing by less points shouldn’t be the priority of the losing team.
This is just the mods trying to provoke the buttt-hurt amongst us. They earned the loss. Just get better and it takes care of their bad feelings.

But we are literally the worse team in the league and have the worse offense in the country and still should have won. We left 3 TD’s on the field with overthrows and the Shipley drop. Let they act like they beat the 2018 TLaw tigers. I guess i just don’t understand being a coach and not being able to put in perspective that what my team done was not that great and really still should have lost even as bad as Clemson is on offense.

I disagree. Fans are fans never heard a word from him about the not taking a knee last season and he wouldn’t have said a word until he beat a hapless Clemson squad. There was nothing signature about this win. We might lose to FSU wake and Louisville. There’s a chance South Carolina beats us this year. A signature win against a six ajd six team speaks volumes about the state of the Pitt program with Narduzzi at the helm.
