Hey guys. What'd you have for dinner?

I know there was a thread for future tense dinners to come and present tense real-time dining, but I'd like to start a past tense one where we look back at what we ate, with the benefit of hindsight, and question what, if anything, we would do differently.

Any regrets? Would you buy it again? Wish you'd bought some tiny curl-up pepperonis and threw them on there ala carte?

Lesson # 4. Never alter any item from a Mexican restaurant menu over the phone and expect it turn into anything but an evil opposite of your intention. Just pick your poison and go all in or else.

it was Stouffer's French Bread Pizza. If I was to do over, I'd wait 42 years and use a Breville toaster oven.

wife and kid were not hungry and I was starving, so got the chicken asiago ranch combo from Wendy's. Not fantastic, but honestly not a bad sandwich for a fast food joint.
Differently? Probably would have gotten a chicken parmesan sandwich from Ferrando's. Been a while since I've had one.

Almost there and plan to keep it going even after APM hits his goal weight.
Truth is, even before COVID APM had let his weight creep up. Then COVID just made it more acceptable. APM had fallen off the vegan train, was drinking more (nothing compared to many of you, but more than usual for APM), and not exercising as much, even though he was still running, walking, qi gonging and karateing.
Anyhoo, APM is on the wagon now.

was good.
Wife-of bought microwave mashed taters. May would have made them homemade, but microwaved version is certainly more convenient.
