My wife tells me last week she really does not want anything for Christmas. She would rather me donate to a family in need than waste money on buying her anything for Christmas.
This morning, she sends me a text with a link to a company in California that sells handbags, shoes, wallets, and sunglasses with the text "Some of these would look good under our Christmas tree."
Mind you, these handbags start at 2,500$

I will say this... I have never bought her a handbag over $500. Usually I get her a Coach, Dooney or something like that that usually run $300-$400 for her birthday or special occasions.

Those are the handbags my wife uses.
We agree to not get anything for each other every year. I end up getting her something from the kids. She gets me nothing, from her or the kids, rinse repeat. It happened for birthday, anniversary, and Father's Day this year too. That was a weird stretch.

I don't know, I believe she thinks a more expensive purse is warranted this time around because I won $1200 at the Hard Rock a few days ago and she sees it as free money. What she doesn't understand is I have lost 10,000 previously over the past two years at said Casino so I am still $8800 to the negative.
