I think them to be just as entertaining as birds.
Many folks buy the "squirrel proof feeders". I have one given me about 20 years ago still in use as it holds a lot.

I have many, many bird feeders. I have one built just to serve squirrels. They mostly are happy there.


Today I have "in the shell" peanuts in it (which the Blue Jays like). Squirrel don't eat peanuts there, takes them off to store for lean times.
He got hungry for "now food" so which feeder did he go to -> the "squirrel proof" one is his favorite.

Glad you like them. All those tree rats do around here is chew on sprinkler heads and outdoor furniture.

Sorry! I misread your post.

Thought it said you feel your squirrels.

My wife fed our squirrels and they got pretty domesticated around the back porch until several of them got bot fly tumors. Grossed her out.
