Bama to the title without a arm. Bryant will be just fine with out defense this year. Bryant is bigger and faster. Just need him to take care of the ball.

back in the playoff.
Hurts, overall, had a very good season for a Freshman QB. He didn't have great playoff games, but also played 2 of the best teams/defenses in college football.
I don't think Bryant is close to where Hurts was last year. But if he is, we will be back in the playoff with our defense, which is going to be Top 5.

I do think our Defense can carry us a ways next year.
Offense just needs to protect the ball and find big plays.

Our running game needs to step up to reach Bama's level

Our running game hasn't been bad, but it's been pretty average during our run of 10-win seasons. We've been able to offset that with Boyd, Watson, and a slew of great WRs, but if we don't get elite production out of the passing game next year we will need the running game to really step it up to a level they haven't reached over the last 5 years if we are going to make the playoff for a 3rd straight season.

He meant to say "with our" defense, I believe. It will help carry a team to the championship.

Hurts had nothing to do with their run last season...it was that gawdy high prolific defense of theirs. Hurts is an awful QB...
