So this all started with the rapists and murderers and such. Before and just after dumb donald was elected yall said “ he wouldn’t go after farm workers and non law breakers” so much for that.
They have shifted to raiding Home Depot’s, birthday parties, graduations and schools. Their literally grabbing any brown person, detaining them til they can prove citizenship, which is a blatant 4th amendment violation btw
The latest is snatching people up in court houses during check ins or completion of green cards and such. So the people doing it the “right way” are getting tricked by ICE and deported for no good reason

They are most definitely not against immigration, not even close. Unless simply trolling, the very question shows an astounding degree of ignorance. Every single one I know wants controlled, legal immigration. I'm sure there are MAGA kooks who are blatant racists and isolationist and are straight up stupid who don't want all of them ferners rurning our way of life. I disagree strongly with my MAGA friends about many things, but none of them oppose sensible immigration.

Then splain to me how so many cheer when a person is detained/ deported that has been here for years legally going through the process. They get called into check-in, but it’s ICE waiting on them
This is happening all over the country. This is what legal immigration looks like.

It's wrong to deport people who are here legally, and are obeying our laws and going through our process. The MAGAs I know are not applauding that.
I will say this: Not many of them would speak out against it, or criticize Trump for it, and that's where we butt heads.

In my experience, it's totally false. Most MAGA and Americans in general, aren't interested in keeping out people who look different or have different backgrounds from their own; they simply want controlled immigration, allowing in people who will be good for America, regardless of race or color.

That's all, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that; that's the way it should be. They don't base it on race, color, wealth, etc.. Do they want to come here, embrace American ideals, integrate into our society, work and obey our laws? If so, they are more than welcome up to a point, meaning that we simply can't handle, nor are we obligated to, every such person on earth who may want to come here. We get to choose based on what's best for us. That's all most MAGAs want, and decades of failed policy in that regard is exactly what enabled Trump to be elected a second time.
Sure, you can show pics and find a lot of examples of MAGAs who are nutjob racist isolationists; but it simply does not apply to most of them.

I agree there are far too many who fit that description. No doubt, and they are wrong. That does not apply to most MAGAs, and certainly not to most who voted for Trump.
Again, based on daily discussions with various MAGAs, some family, some close friends, and probably hundreds of cutomers, co-workers, and acquaintances, most would welcome some of those people with no problem. Most, in fact, already do. They are very concerned, however, with the open borders which we've had in recent years which encouraged a mass influx of people from all over the world, and led to a lot of very bad people getting in. That's just a hard truth. Would they welcome some poor families from Honduras? Absolutely, with open arms. I know this for a fact because I see it every day. Many of my MAGA friends either have a lot of customers who are immigrants from Mexico, Honduras, Columbia, etc., and they embrace them, and are friends with them. Many of my MAGA friends and acquaintances work alongside, with, or for these immigrants, and appreciate their hard work and their contribution; they welcome them here.
Now, do they want every poor family who wants in, to be allowed in? Hell no, we are under no such moral or legal obligation. We can only handle so many, and rightly, without apology, get to choose who and how many, based on how it benefits us.
Look, there is an insane, reactionary aspect of MAGA, and good luck finding a MAGA who will be objective or critical of Trump. It just doesn't happen, so I get it. It frustrates me to no end when I talk to them. Still, most MAGAs simply want border security and sensible policy and a workable system which benefits Americans first, and there's nothing at all wrong with that.
