How about ahow some accountability, especially with your “NFL-caliber” defense, who utterly failed your backup QB who gave the performance of his life (up to now)? We coulda shoulda woulda won that game if they had played with half a heart. Has Dabo lost this team’s trust or exactly what is going on here? “It is what it is” and “we gotta be better” don’t cut it in big boy football.

He doesn't enjoy coaching football anymore. Plain and simple. He's using his position and power to promote things he really believes in. His press conference appearances of late prove that theory. Breast cancer awareness for example. He made a point to mention how much more important this cause is over football. His body language and delivery reveal so much. This man is in the business of playing God here on earth. Hiring friends, former players, and family is more proof of that. We need the majority of the fan base to recognize this and stop defending this man. He's making way too much money to put his primary job on the back burner but that's exactly what he is doing.

Have other people noticed dabo and the players speak in fragments? "Gotta do better" " not making the plays" etc.
Maybe, just maybe they have become soft with the multimillion dollar facilities and being treated like rock stars.
It is becoming a joke. I can't stand even hearing blowhard talk about " we will be back". Not under the current path.
Recruits..come to clemson and play...we will spoil you, get you a degree and you may get to play some football. Ha!

Has anyone else read this post game crap? So the I surrender flag is waiving. I've heard enough of the money ball crap. People finally started walking out...not soon enough to send a message. Riley has to go. Cade is done. The staff can't make in game or halftime adjustments. I'd rather spend the season developing vizz. Linemen...good people...mediocre players at this level. I'm interested in jacobs..past him...does anyone ask why we get the sloppy seconds of Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, or Ohio state? Get out of the all crap conference...figure out how to grow the money needed...take your links for a few years in the bottom third of the conference...then dominate. Because now there are no more moral victories to achieve.

And what do you expect him to say, "Get used ot this"? I have no doubt he is capable of righting this ship, and as mentioned yesterday, he did it by luring in guys like Dan Brooks, Tony Elliot, and Brent Venables..
And IMHO, we need more Ralph Friedgen kinda players, who are in for the game, and not just the money. Every roster has them. I look at SMU's receivers, and they do not have our talent, but were equally effective at this level. They have a chip on their shoulder, and that is likely a better motivator than a NIL contract.

Have you seen our record recently? It’s not good and there is no reason to think things will get better anytime soon.
We don’t have elite and generational players coming in next year, despite Dabo supposedly being a great recruiter.
We don’t seem to have coaches who can develop the talent we do have, despite Dabo making significant coaching changes in recent years.
He keeps saying that things will get better, but when? And more importantly, HOW?

Dabo has never done or said anything during the season about the program. I have to believe he knows it's broken. Other coaches like Saban has talked in private with him on what needs to happen. That said, we'll know quick how serious he is about winning again as soon as the season is over.
How bad is it? We've only played one good defense this season. LSU. We haven't played a top 10 team, and possibly by the end of the year, we might not have played a top 20. LSU probably should have 4 losses. Ga Tech is a good team but they've been pretty lucky this season. Wake had them beat, we could have beaten them and Duke came close. But Ga Tech isn't a prolific offense team.
So as bad as our defense has been this year, think about what the results would be if we played Bama, uga, ole miss, or Tennessee this year??? Take your orange glasses off and ask yourself how bad would our offense and defense look if we had to play a legit top team? We've fallen off a cliff. Definitely need to scrap everything and start over.

Had we not been in the pathetic ACC the last 5 years we likely would have finished unranked in most of them. Many, many things need to be changed for us to get back to the top. If we don't attack the portal seriously at seasons end, I think I'm slipping into the opinion that Dabo won't get us there. Several other things need to be done on top of that as well.

I was very disappointed tonight. On offense, I think the weak link is play calling. Defense, I think Dabo tried to make a positive change. Dabo has proven he is a long-term winner. I think he is saying there will be changes.

He will have this program in the bottom half of the lowly ACC for the following 2 years. The talent is leaving, recruiting is barely top 30, and the coaches are mediocre at best. It’s downward trajectory that’s been obvious to anyone watching. Next year will be an embarrassment. Mark it down. The empty seats will speak for themselves the next two years and they can either make a change, or gut the athletic empire and many of the employees. No more 10 year deals . And we gave Neff a raise and extension for this mess? It’s a sad joke and thank goodness I haven’t listened to Dabo in many years. Total BS mixed with delusions. You would think he’s an insurance salesman.

Dabo needs to make some hard gut wrenching decisions this week if he wants to save this program from total collapse and he plans on ever seeing a Championship again.
There are some firings in order before the next Team meeting today. If he don't do it today and continues to let this lackluster Coaching continue to fester its gonna get harder to rebuild for next year!!
Franklin said he was shocked he was being fired before his Sunday Team meeting by the AD.. Its time to send some shock waves thru the Clemson Coaching staff.

What this new era of college football shows us is the importance of coaching. Now that talent has been spread across the nation due to NIL and teams depth tends to be limited, it really comes down to X’s and O’s. When Clemson had its run our roster was loaded with talent. Our guys were bigger and stronger and faster. We beat teams because our players were better we didn’t beat teams because of our scheme. Before everyone jumps all over me think about it. How often were we complaining about how often we ran QB draws and flanker screens that went nowhere. The year he won his first title Troy should have beaten us, NC State had us dead to rights and missed a field goal I could’ve made. (I’m 55🤣) Pittsburgh did beat us. We almost gave up a lead to VT in the ACC title game as well. We pounded OSU because they were so overrated. The win against Alabama was a great win but Lady Luck was definitely on our side. Scarborough goes out in the third, if not we lose that game.. Dabo was an amazing recruiter motivator and mentor. His accomplishments are amazing and he’s the greatest coach in our history. No one will ever remember him for his brilliant offensive and defensive schemes. His playcalling his in game decisions or his halftime adjustments. When asked what he told his players at halftime of the title game, his first one, as to why they were going to win his answer was love?? College football is different and Dabo isn’t a fit for it. That’s okay but he needs to do the right thing.

He is so far removed from Championship football that he has no clue what it looks like anymore . Remember he thought this team was good as in 16-0 good . Complete failure on his part !

Another championship? How about we just win another HOME game in the next year. Get rid of the overpaid overbloated coaching staff that clearly can’t develop players and has no game management skills.

Eventually, who knows when, several donors will be in Graham’s ear and say hey, let Dabo know we dont want to hear any excuses, no humanitarian projects, no “these things are bigger than football,” UNTIL we are winning football again. We will decide what that looks like whether it be actual wins, having a QB and a program that is legitimately a threat in every game they play regardless of who the opponent is, whatever it is, we will let him know if he can continue to coach our team.

It seems like Dabo is trying to gaslight everyone. Where is this complacency coming from? He seems apathetic.
