The loss was disappointing, but it was a good season. Recruiting and transfer portal use have also been improving. The Duke win and Elite 8 run were incredible.
Upsets happen but are just part of the tournament - Duke, MSU, and Kentucky have all fallen to 12+ seeds in recent memory, but that doesn’t mean the program was in a bad place. The only way to avoid getting upset is to never be better than a 9.

We didn't go the Elite 8 this season. Also, that was terrible coaching in that game. No sense of urgency.
