Biggest marketing flop recently- KFC Nuggets?

TV ad shows huge nuggets that people bite into.... truth is , some are so tiny that it takes 2 or 3 to equal one bite. And since they are so small, how do they manage to get cartilage gristle into some of them? Anyone else tried them with similar results? ( Guess I am having a "Get off my lawn ! " kind of day.)

You must have a bad KFC. The ones I tried were twice the size of the Chick-Fil-A nuggets. hot and delicious.

Sadly, nowadays such misrepresentation of products is the norm by many fast food outlets. Don't know how they continue to get away with it. Tops on my misrepresentation list are the Subways and the burger places. No way do you end up taking home what they show in their TV ads.
I've always used the saying, "I don't mind paying, if I get what I paid for". That's so often not the case now.

I haven't had KFC of any kind in quite some time, and generally stay away from fast food. When I do get fast food chicken nuggets, it's Wendy's or Arby's. Arby's nuggets (not the tenders) are darn tasty.

I used to really like KFC chicken but it has become very greasy IMO. We did stop and get a couple of their chicken pot pies over last winter and they are pretty good.

to give a "shout out" to Wendy's. I am trying to adhere to a very low carb diet, and needed a quick lunch last week. I went in Wendy's and asked for two quarter-pound patties...just the meat and nothing else. The guy came back in a few minutes with them, and I asked. "How much are they?" He said $2.29. I asked was that for each...he said, "No, for both". $2.29 for a half pound of hot off the grill burgers ain't bad! And their's are better than most of the chain burger joints. I did the same a couple days ago at a McDonald's, because they were the only thing close, and it was 4 bucks and they weren't nearly as good as Wendy's.
FYI, if you have a Lowes Foods in your area, they have ready to eat meats at a reasonable price, as long as you stay away from the steak...it's usually overcooked and pricey. But burgers, pork chops, sausage and chicken, usually about 3 or 4 bucks for a 6-8 oz serving. "

If it’s a success when every1st sale is the last sale I guess so.

Yeah, I'm not ordering KFC nuggets anymore. They are way smaller than the ones at McDonalds.

I mean you bought them right? It sounds like the product sucks, which is not a marketing issue.

But you have to give them credit for showing an entirely different product than the one they sell. Some people can not read the small text at the bottom of the TV that says product and portion may vary, they flash it up there pretty quickly, so you have to be on your toes.
