I wonder why we haven’t seen them try to throw the ball to him in space. He could really be dangerous on those little passes out in the flats. Perhaps even a wheel route.

....but not too complex for a football genius like you to grasp. Run that by Dabo and he will probably throw the wheel route to him every other play.
By the way did anyone notice the terrific block Travis made on the blitzing linebacker ...guy wound up on his back!

ETN is a runner who is most successful running between the tackles. That's what he did in high school and it is his strength. They discussed this on the tv yesterday. I've noticed that he isn't as successful when he runs outside. I bet Dabo and staff are working on this

Really: Did you not see him go 80 yards outside for a td against L'ville? He cuts to the outside and away he goes. The one against BC was Off of right tackle not inside. Look at the tapes and learn what inside running means versus outside running. time to bone up on your knowledge. Consult with Mr. Brazzy B and he'll be more than happy to give you schooling on this topic.

I've read my post several times and can find no place where I mentioned that he never ran outside. I stand by my original post. The next time you and Coach S are discussing the team , get his thoughts on it.

Foresttiger: you're a perfect candidate to attend forMr. Braswell's new videos that will teach the basics to football to anyone who wants to learn. Once you've mastered those we can have an intelligent conversation until then please don't waste my time or other that of other people who understand the game. Sir it is people like you that clearly know nothing about football that irritate those of us who love having high level football conversations. I know you guys want a 90-0 game with us throwing deep to Cain on the last play but that's not how Dabo works. He plainly said he pulled CJ Spiller out of a game to keep him from padding his stats. I imagine if Dabo changes his attitude toward padded stats we'll figure it out.

Nobody is knocking the coaching, but the question was asked of why not try to hit ET with short passes on the edge and let him do his thing? Everyone just making conversation.
