Hi Team.. What a ride!! Tomorrow is my final stop in my lifetime of the working world. I retire tomorrow after 7+ years @ SRNS and careers that have spanned 51 years of paying social security. My time to enjoy some relaxing years is as much scary as it is exciting. I wish to thank SRNS for giving me the opportunity to be me, a service to you. I hope in your eyes I accomplished that. I can say without hesitation that I will miss working at SRNS. I have found the vast majority of the challenges that were presented to me as a fun and motivating thing to do. Yes, I will miss the work (a little), but I will miss the people the most.
I have been blessed to work with individuals that spanned the spectrum from one end to the other. The bonds that have been cultivated bring a smile to my face. At SRNS I found gratification in the supporting of my Maintenance, my Operations, my RP and my Engineering peers. In the words of the great entertainer Frank Sinatra, “I did it my way. For that, I can only say thank you. Thank you for accepting me and honing my skills from your expert tutelage to be the best I could be. This was only possible from your compassion, gifted talents, and support. I am hoping and thinking that we will see each other again. And until that day, be safe because I need you that way, and as a team we need each other.
