I see several losses . Maybe the " top QB " in the ACC ( according to Bleacher Retort ) can get the Wolfpack a win against VT to salvage a bowl game . We shall see .

Best case, I can see a 9-win season for them

with wins against Troy, E. Kentucky, ODU, South Alabama (and wow, those last 2 games are AWAY--that's kind of shocking), Virginia Tech, Wake, BC, Syracuse, and UNC. That's an exceedingly best-case scenario though. I don't really know how good VT and UNC are slated to be this year but the UNC game's always a tossup for them, and they always manage to pull off one upset so I'm giving them VT.

They have a pretty good QB and i think that VT game for them will make or break the season.

8 or 9. Those 4 nonconference wins plus WFU, Syracuse

and BC should give them 7 right off the bat. They're good enough to win one or two more after that.

They could possibly win 10 of those games. They could be 7-0 or 6-1 when we play them.

8-4, and probably the worst 8 win team in a P5 conference. In a way, it's good news for us, as the incompetent AD there will probably see this as progress and lock up Doeren long-term. He will essentially be the new Mike London.
The last two years under Doeren, NC State has given a top team fits (us in '13 and FSU in '14) before wilting late in the game. Of course, they follow that performance up poorly (losing 7 of their next 8 after us in '13 and losing 41-0 to us in '14). My guess is he possibly beats a Louisville team that lost a lot of leadership last season, gets ranked and hyped before losing 4 of their last 5 in embarrassing fashion.
