I’m going to the BC game, super excited haven’t been to a game there before. Those that have gone, looks like it’s easiest to train to Chestnut Hill from town right?

Taking the T to BC is awful - pony up for an Uber or Lyft to get closer to the campus.

I've made that walk a total of one time. BC looks so close from across that lawn, but its so far away. We now buy a tailgating spot on campus.

I don't like the T in general, but it is a decent way to get from downtown Boston out to Chestnut Hill. I just prefer not having to make that trek from the T to campus/stadium.

I’m going w my family & brother and his family, we’ll have four adults and six kids from 9 to 4 months in October- I’ve heard driving and parking is out of the question- how long of a train ride are we talking, and will there be homeless people taking dumps in the train car and or asking me for money?

Ah - then take the T. If its a nice day, the stroll is nice.

If my memory is correct, it will take like 15-30 minutes. Probably closer to 30 with the little ones. Don't expect people taking dumps on the T, unfortunately.
Another option is to drive to their satellite lots and get bused in. I've done that in the past too.

Stay in Back Bay/South End. Get on at Copley or the Hynes stop. Enjoy the trip out there, and get off at the Boston College station. Dumps you right at campus, and it's a delightful walk to the stadium. Getting back can be pretty hectic as everybody is aiming for the same stop after the game, but in my experience you get through it pretty quick -- or leave in the 4th, especially if you have little ones, and beat the traffic.

It's better than the Subway, and on par or only slightly worse than the Metro.

In living there a year and using the T on the regular, we only ran into one genuinely crazy person, and she mostly kept to herself. And I think a part of what made her so scary was she was Haitian or something similar and she sounded like she was casting voodoo curses.

Pretty genius using the little kid like that.

line because he had been a student at Clemson for 22 years. He wasn't very smart and just couldn't pass the classes, but he worked REALLY hard. Anyways, that reminds me that I need free Field Passes too.
Thanks so much for all yall's help.
