He said he was solid, and that he was committed as long as we didn't look for another QB in this class. We lived up to our word. He has made the first move by showing his commitment isn't worth the breath it took for him to make it. My thinking is we look at others at that spot now.

I was torn between Clemson and Ohio State after having been accepted at both. Visited OSU in March. HATED IT. The weather, campus and people sucked. Clemson was a no brainer.

is what I meant. Lots of schools are recruiting him obviously, but those two will have the upper hand. I don't get the impression he is a "Clemson" man so much as he is a fan of our offense.

Plan B should be to turn this one lose now. He will end up like RN before long. There will be other good HS QB's before we need him.

so, basically, if a high school kid is a challenge, then just go ahead and drop the offer?
are you nuts? what type of class would we ever have with that kind of reasoning? there is going to be competition for the best kids. get used to it and be prepared for this. we want the best, to be (and beat) Alabama, we are going to go through this drama.

Well we do have a freshman on the team that redshirted who is supposed to be well suited for Morris' offense

Why wouldn't he make sure, he is the number one recruit. I think he will be hard to hold on to in my opinion, especially if Morris leaves after next season.
I would love to have him, but won't lose sleep with these 18 year old kids playing the game.

Just pull his d@mn scholarship and spare us the sense of false hope and dispair. Its very obvious that we can play with the big dogs, but its even more obvious that we can compete with them when it comes to recruiting.
