spent on the bathroom "issue". Astounding... As if there are not larger issues that would benefit from this type of effort?? I have yet to hear about someone who was truly denied the use of a restroom or who was confronted in a restroom challenging their "gender". Way out of hand, no matter which of the "issue" you are on. As usual,the mess was started by the heavy handed, agenda driven federal government. NC politicians react accordingly, and here we are.

It's been confronted elsewhere because of a pervert dressing as a women taking photos of other women in THEIR public restroom. The law allowing a person to use the bathroom of the sex they feel at the time is the culprit. I'll tell you this for a fact. If my wife comes out of a WOMENS public restroom and complains of a MAN dressed as a women taking photos will be turned into a women by cutting his winis off.

Maybe I am missing something here but in this case the city of Charlotte passed a law preventing what they saw as discrimination. It was the state law makers who stepped in and passed HB2 in an emergency session. What made it worse to many people is that they not only reversed what Charlotte passed, they added additional language stripping all local ordinances around the state that would have expanded protections to LGBT people (not just the bathroom stuff).
Anyway, no matter what side people fall on the issue this was all done by North Carolina, federal had nothing to do with it.
