Call me a bad fan, but this Kentucky team ain’t #### and we’re letting them destroy us.

My final season thoughts.

Offense: we had plenty of top of the order guys and bottom of the order guys. But our RBI guys (priest, gaffney, Jarrell) never panned out.

Defense: numbers look bad, but a pretty good season from the eye test point of view

Pitching: injuries plagued the depth of our squad and that killed us.

Overall we underperformed, but if we’re being honest, the offense wasn’t very good all year, we got some lucky walks, HBPs, and passed balls to generate runs.

One positive note to our season ending is that we’ll never have to watch Josh Paino take another at bat in a Clemson uniform.

I really do think we have a chance to have one of the best starting rotations in America next year with Knaak, Moehler, and Bell. We have some good relief options too. But may need to hit the portal for a closer.

My final thought: tip of the cap to Mr. Cam Canarella on an amazing career and some great memories.

It’s hard to watch. I’m not gonna lie, but I have to say this. I never thought I would because they looked like a bunch of thugs last night but I hope West Virginia beats the you know what out of Kentucky… anybody but the SEC right now.

One last thought. Open the portal to fair weather fans that also want to incite a rebellion and push the out. Thank god they don’t make decisions.
