I’m sure many read it - I wonder if any would reply (obviously covertly).

It might be eye opening to get a take that isn’t from Swinney or an opinion that isn’t given while being documented by reporters.

And some on the coaching staff too. There’s always a few who can’t help but read what everyone thinks of them.

But I agree with everyone that they would all be much better off ignoring the outside noise, positive and negative at this point, and just focusing on the task at hand.

The best thing a current Clemson player could do it never let us know they are posting here. I'd welcome former players but a current player commenting right now would have nothing to gain.

Too many folks getting emotional on the boards this season. Even when there's some truth to the posts, the players don't need to involve themselves in this kind of distraction.

Imagine if a player did post and then we lost a game that week...This board would be flaming about how players are too busy responding to message boards rather than studying their opponent so they should have their scholly yanked or traded to someone in the transfer portal.

Best thing we can hear is that they are limiting their social media use.

One of the older guys on our team was very active on a high school football message board. Everyone read this board so we had all seen him post but hadn’t really talked much about it that I remember.

One day he blew an assignment during inside/outside and the OL coach blew up on him. Don’t remember exactly what he said but he ended it with “and keep your ### off the message boards!”
