I bumped into Sammy Brown on Flight my out of Atlanta

yesterday. He is a really humble kid, he barely even wanted to talk about football. He is every bit of 6'2", but not as thick as I thought he would be. Kids like this are rare because they do not let football dominate their life, he mostly wanted to talk about NASCAR and would change the subject when I brought up Clemson. I assume he is just being tight-lipped about where he will commit.

Glad to see he finally got that lettuce trimmed up. However, I’m really concerned that he lives 1 hour and 5 minutes from campus. He drove 58 minutes to the Atlanta airport and had to arrive 2 hours early. He then took a 40 minute flight to GSP. After which, he drove 55 minutes from GSP to campus. Doesn’t sound like someone we want or need. I hope your conversation didn’t tip the scales in our favor.
