1- If they would have played last night when originally scheduled Georgia would have won
2- Having a first round bye hurt Georgia and helped ND
What ever other excuses Kirby can come up with about officiating even though a pee wee league player can see he always tries to affect the officials on the sideline by keeping them occupied by talking and yelling at them up until the snap of the ball

I told folks ND could easily win the game because UGA missing their QB and NDs strong defense and run game (folks mocked that). That said, I do think the byes hurt teams. None of the first round games were close, so they basically just let the teams warm up. It's not uncommon for teams to come out slow after a bye week. We always do. Every team with a bye lost, and they all started slow and ended up at an early deficit they couldn't make up. It happened 4 times. 1 game is one point of data. 4 is a line.

In 3 of the 4 games the team favored won.

Ohio state was the only upset. Two of the bye teams were playing against higher ranked teams. Georgia was ranked higher, but playing a backup QB.

The way Kirby acts on the side lines you would think he is the head referee.

I doubt you will hear Kirby make those excuses.
Excuses are for coot coaches, not DAWG coaches.

UGA’s inability to field a left side of an O-line that could pass protect was the reason why UGA lost.
BTW, that left side of UGA’s OL didn’t do much as far as run blocking, either.

There is nothing to be said. Georgia was more talented but the team that was coached and prepared better won that game. Marcus Freeman showed true leadership, as a head coach, tonight and all season.
