Ancheaux's nostalgia

Between 2003-2007 I am confident in saying I downed over 60 Black Jack sandwiches. Anybody else miss that place?

Best burrito anywhere

I don't think I've ever had burritos as good as I had there. The fact that they were as big as my arm probably helped. All the old photos and paraphernalia were great too.
I asked someone in BGR (the place that took over) what happened and they said the owner 'just up and left'. No one really knew why.
All I know is that I miss that place... that and Keith St. I did their freaking beer club and got my name engraved above the bar then they had to go and tear it down. Is nothing sacred?!

Yup, he was open one day and closed the next. He took off and went to a culinary school in Ontario Canada.

the recognizable place. It's a common tale and a shame. I quit going to pizza chains anywhere. I will only support the local restaurants trying to make it happen. The pizza is better anyway. See Todaro's and Peppino's. Please tell me those haven't vanished.

Can't stand Moe's….

their food is decent, but that loud "Welcome to Moe's" shouted out when you walk in is annoying. Each time I hear that, I want to tell them they're not getting paid that much money to be that happy. Good service is one thing, but when I go to a restaurant I'm not going their to develop relationships with the people that work there (unless it's a hot babe of course).

I miss the greek restaurant by TD's, I think it was called..

Akropolis, not for sure though. They had really good food. I don't know what is there now because each year since the Greek restaurant has closed it seems there has been a new restaurant at that location.
