Survived the Dermatologist yesterday- dentist today!

Neither on regular schedule. Had a molar break Tuesday leaving a jagged edge against my tongue. Hurts to swallow- hope it can be fixed instead of being pulled. Getting old is a drag…… at least a lot of days.

Agree 100%. I am in the process of radiation treatment for skin cancer, that's the down side. The up side is my dermatologist on a scale of 10 comes in at a high 9. A real looker!

Hope they don't have to cover your eyes, would be a plus while undergoing unpleasantness. I used to hate having my teeth cleaned but the last few years have been great. My dental tech is a 9 with 10+ blue/green eyes(prolly contacts)

I luckily thought I'd managed to crack a crown a couple weeks ago, but it turned out no, it just came off, and they were able to reglue it! They didn't do it for free of course, but it still made me glad I hadn't accidentally swallowed the thing, or thrown it out, deciding it was broken.

I opted for implants and veneers a while ago. I coulda bought a nice boat or pickup for the cost but it’s paid for itself. My older buddies get jealous when I break out corn nuts or something hard on teeth and power through them like it’s easy.
Good luck on saving the tooth. If you can’t, look at an implant. They are amazing.

If the tooth can be formed for a good base, should be able to put a crown there. Have had several. Was at the dentist Tuesday to fix a small part of the base on the side of one. Good luck.

Reverse order for me. Broken molar, cracked into root had to be yanked. Headed to Asheville next month for basil cell carcinoma removal and hoping for opposite results from tooth

to the top and recommended that I get a crown but said I don’t have to get it right away. Good to be able to swallow without my tongue rubbing against a jagged tooth.

Please. Dentistry has come so far. I get cleanings 2x a year, had filings, root canals, crowns and extractions and didn't feel much at all. Going to the dentist is the least of my worries now.
