come away with the win against the TarHoles last night. Their pitcher was matching Valerie in the circle all night long. Had her defense not let her down in that last inning, who knows how long the game would have gone on.

But, as we saw, being the home team in close games is a HUGE advantage. If I read the ESPN future scoring lineup correctly, that will not be the case today. And, Duke is a MUCH better hitting team than UNC. Our bats are going to have to wake up if we are to advance again.

GO, TIGERS!

We have also GOT to tighten up the nonchalant throwing the ball back to the infield, and back to the pitcher. We got burned for their only run again last night by aggressive base running and us not paying attention in one of those situations. The other times it has happened, it ultimately cost us the game. Again, we were fortunate that was not the case last night.

I felt like it was just a matter of time before the TarHoles shot themselves in the foot.

Props to the UNCheat pitcher, she pitched a really good game, but that leadoff double by Clemson in the extra frame was HUGE!!!!.
