I am feeling really good about our football team’s performance

this coming weekend.
I am feeling really confident that we will have no turnovers or incompletions on offense. On defense, we won’t give up any touchdowns.
I believe in this team and these coaches, so it’s easy to be confident.

If this had been said after week 1, that is faith in the team and optimism. After seeing 5 games, with 2 losses, and 2 struggle wins vs unranked opponents, it is delusional. This offense looks lost on that football field, with no answers. I admire your optimism, but truth is, Clemson is just not very good now. Our defense is legit, but the offense is, so far, horrid! It does not look like it is improving either. I hope you are right, and I am an idiot. This does not look like a team that is just slipping up, and will be clicking soon. This looks like a team that is imploding.
