No it's the fan superiority complex. They'll defend the absolute BS just so they can say "You're not a true fan. Go support someone else. It's not that bad." All the while the basketball program never takes the next step to become something consistently relevant. I for one am sick of failing expectations every single year. (And yes, I'm waiting for some Smart-A to ask "Well what are your expectations? Are they reasonable?")

Old man needs to stick to fishing. Some of us watch the games and have been paying attention to the tune of absolute mediocrity for 15 years with 1 or 2 pure luck-up seasons where we made the dance and won a couple games. Sure be giddy we had our little 2 year consecutive trips to the tourney for the first time in those 15 years. Soak it in because we won’t make it 3 in a row.
